[W&B] Dallmeyer 3x3 - Dating 3x3 dry plates

1 x 1 1/2 would likely be for "Gem" size, I would think. I have a repeating  
back small English sliding box camera that takes 4 such photos on a 6 1/2 inch 
 long plate. Members of PCCGB can find it in Photographica World #114 
-2005/4.  Michael Pritchard suggests a date of 1870 to 1880.
