Ummm . . . if Mercury is a proper name engraved on a previously unknown lens
by a famous early maker, yes.
For example, a Fitz "Mercury" Improbable Angle Bi-Globular lens - then I'd
be happy to store it in a safe place.
But the name must actually be engraved on the barrel; not just written with
a Sharpie or some such.
