Hi,
My name is Brian Coope and I live in Surrey, England. As a new member I
thought I'd let you know I have a fairly large collection of cameras from
the 1880s to the present day.
I used to be a professional photographer and commercial designer, starting
in the 60s.
I buy and sell-more often buy-from ebay and auctions and sometimes car boot
sales.
My latest acquisition is I believe a Marion Mahogany Tailboard Camera circa
1887. With a number of slides and mounts, a Marion Rectilinear No 3 Lens
with a number of Waterhouse stops and a front push-on Thornton Pickard
shutter. All in a big leather box which is in great need of repair. There
are a few thumbscrews missing but it is in pretty good condition and the
large bellows is like new.
Does anybody have any information on the Marion cameras?

Regards

Brian
