Hi gang,

I have a beautiful 5 x 7 Stereo Long Focus Premo sitting here, a truly
rare bird, that's just in gorgeous overall condition, BUT it's missing the
shutter and lenses. Does anybody have a Bausch & Lomb stereo shutter with
lenses I can buy to complete this poor baby?

I've been hunting for this over many months now. The end of January I
celebrated my 50th birthday, obviously a momentous occasion in anybody's
life, and I thought I'd take a break from the computer (other than actual
business work) for a week. Rest my eyes and brain (what's left of it),
and get out of the house to play a couple rounds of golf, that sort of
thing. I didn't want to make a "big deal" of my birthday at the time,
just wanted to get some much needed rest. That included ignoring eBay.
Well, last IDCC swap day, I asked about the Bausch & Lomb stereo shutter.
Bob Schmidt responded to me off list that he had found one that had
recently sold on eBay, and whether or not it was the sort of thing I was
looking for. I checked out the listing...and, sure enough, it had sold
the week of my birthday! Bob, in all innocence, then dug the needle
deeper by finding and pointing out ANOTHER eBay listing...and this one
ALSO finished during my birthday week!! For months I've searched, and two
appear on eBay during the only week in Lord knows how long I decide to
take a break!! Well, happy birthday, indeed!! If this is any
indication of what it's like to be on THIS side of 50, I'm gonna go back
to being 49 (or, like Jack Benny, 39). Have a heart, folks, don't give
Bob the opportunity to torture me again...help me find that shutter!!

;)

Best wishes,
