Milan,

Have a look at
http://www.westlicht-auction.com/index.php?id=64593&acat=64593&_ssl=off in
the auction catalog at Westlicht, Wien on November 18. Items N° 713 and 714.
#724 and #725 are Globe lenses.

Whoa! Wait a second, wait a second, wait a second . . .

Why is it that you have this lens, and I don't?

OK, now that I can see what we're dealing with, I'm thinking that this is a
2-part lens:

1. The part that claims to be a 7x9 Telephoto is actually the small piece
out front, and it can be removed and used by itself as a simple long focus
lens? Is that correct? If you unscrew this piece and focus on a distant
light, or fry ants outside -- what is the focus from the slot to the fried
ant?

2. The whole rear end of the lens is a vari-focal attachment. Essentially
one whooping long, negative lens attachment that can be used to alter the
focal length of the entire system.

AND WAIT A MINUTE !!! . . . didn't you steal a somewhat similar Clément &
Gilmer Tele Objectiv Rectilinear Panorthoscopique (in the box !!! no less)
from me some years back, in yet another of your infamous yellow-dot schemes
while your cohort in crime, Ben Ehrman, distracted us by making some sort of
weirdly tasty middle-eastern turmeric-spiced recipe in my kitchen?

It's all coming back to me now . . .
