Hi Mike... if the advice that Dave B gave you doesn't fix the problem you
can try running the engine near full power while reducing the prop speed
from 2500 with the pitch control.
Several years ago I had fine wire spark plugs installed on the bottom
cylinders and now fouled plugs are rare.
