John,

You probably need the trim servo overhauled. It could be there is too much drag in the trim system that is exacerbated by the temperature. What is your serial number (D-xxxx or E-xxxx or CD,CE, CF xxxx).

The electric trim on my auto-pilot system stopped working when the real cold weather set in. It worked slowly for awhile and then nothing. Anyone ever have the problem? It's an STEC 60-2 system.
