Paint and interior are in very good condition. No damage history in the
logs, with the FAA/NTSB or by inspection. Just can't find any evidence of it
ever. Spent it's whole life in the Midwest and 20 years in Fresno so there
is no corrosion anywhere. All 4 bladders were just redone in April (a $10K
job) .
Annual was done in March 2008 and it was fairly extensive. IFR pitot static
done in April 2008, Hydro on the oxygen system was done in fall 2007 and it
doesn't leak a bit. This plane needs nothing but to be flown more than I am
able to right now and that's why I'm selling it.
Less then 7000 hours total time airframe.
Less the 1500 hours since factory remanufacture on both engines. These were
remaned in 2000 so they are heavy latest generation cases with VAR cranks
and excellent candidates for overhaul when the time comes. But, that may be
quite a while because they are both running perfectly with very well
balanced GAMIjectors. Compressions are all in the 70's. Will run LOP all day
long in any power setting (still recommend full rich climbs). A really nice
set of 520's with three blade alcohol props. Also has unfeathering
accumulators.
Has a Garmin GNS 430W interconnected with a STEC system 55X with altitude
preselect that allows almost any approach to be flown hands off like the big
iron. Also interfaced with the GNS 430W is a Garmin 496 with XM weather,
safetaxi charts and a AOPA database. It functions like an MFD with your
current flight plan crossfed to it. Also has an JPI EDM 760 w/fuel flow fed
to the GPS that makes fuel planning stone simple. Also in the panel are a
Century HSI, KX 155 NAV/COMM w/ KI 208 NAV indicator with G/S, KN 62 DME,
KR 87 ADF, KT76A Transponder, Davtron 903 DVOR, David Clark intercom.
Other equipment includes long range 142 Gallon (136 usable) fuel, Micro VG
kit (these are a fantastic safety feature), 6 place oxygen, Bob Fields
electric inflatable door seals, Raytheon maintenance manual, some spare
parts and other features and goodies I can't remember at the moment. I hate
let it go but, I just don't have the time or the hanger space anymore, too
many planes and projects, so my loss is your gain. The first $65,000 USD
takes it. It's is available for inspection at KSTC (St. Cloud, MN) and I can
deliver for expenses and a ride or commercial ticket home.
Please no brokers.
Thanks for looking,
Bill
