Rich,
One of the things I have seen the mechanics at work use is a can
of contact cleaner. If they get oil on their shirt, they will just
take the can and spray from the inside out. I have done this when
I got some oil on my shirt and it worked great. It desolved the
oil and rinsed it away. Don't know how it would work on kerosene,
but it could not hurt.
