About NMSL	English (USA)
This list is designed to support its members in sewing projects and sew-alongs for both the nursing mother and her children. The majority of our nursing patterns come from Elizabeth Lee Designs. Her web site address is: http://www.elizabethlee.com/index.htm Any tips or hints you learn while sewing with Elizabeth's patterns, as well as tips on how you have changed her patterns or adapted them, are welcome! We will also be sewing some patterns from the major pattern companies. Discussions will include, but are not limited to: Converting RTW (ready to wear) to nursing garments, and adapting standard patterns to provide nursing access. We are always open to new ideas! Any sewing issues are welcome! We will also be making baby/toddler garments from the Kwik-sew master pattern books. These books are also available from Elizabeth Lee, as well as SewBaby. They may also be found at most Hancock's Fabric stores. We also enjoy using the Sunrise Designs patterns, also sold by Elizabeth Lee, and welcome discussions of sewing these patterns for our children. You can use the search engine to look for specific text in the archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)

Subscribing to NMSL
Subscribe to NMSL by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
